TJ

TJmov is my one man production company based in the North East of England specialising in film and photography. I first started TJmov in 2010 as an outlet to make short films. Since obtainig a First in Digital Filmmaking at the University of Sunderland and two RTS awards for short film "Rebel Rebel" in 2019, TJmov has expanded into a small production house with a growing client base across the North East entertainment idustry spanning drag, music and theatre.

I have developed a reputaion for realising the visions of local queer artists through my work in multimedia to create promotional material, live performance backdrops, music videos and more. I would describe my work under TJmov as bright, vibrant and "pop". Often drawing from retro inspirations, incorporating analogue textures and frequently paying homage to classic works.

My most frequent collaborator is singer/songwriter MXYM, we have worked together on several projects since 2018. Other notable clients include Drag Idol Newcastle winners Bonnie and Ben Dover Love who I have been working with since 2019, as well as Mama Rhi and Northern Pride.

Outside of client work I enjoy the craft of filmmaking. Where possible I enjoy writing and designing for film.
